[x] remove md example from demo pipeline
[x] create minimal example that only renders these repos
[x] create test that checks for progress on the issue

${strip_comments:+"--strip-comments" "$strip_comments"} in /home/dehnejn/gitlab/andrew/inst/docker-scripts/md2md.sh caused the issue
