Not able to populate a ServiceAgent

in 2 separate projects:

created a ServiceAgent project [ a project has been created in the BE]
- added reference to an interface SDK [reference is there to the sdk]
- click on Add rest interface proxy [expected: ability to select a class but nothing shows...]

Probably, I am not satisfying the expectations of the guidance. What is the expected workflow to succeed there (and its pre-requisite)? Other possibility, it did work at some point [GGE told me it has worked for him], but it does not anymore.
