Something that might be good to mention in the intro (and somewhere on the platform) is something like: How much maths / computer skills do I need to use GIS effectively?
It could say something like:
As long as you can use Excel and PowerPoint you shouldn't have trouble with QGIS
There is lots of complex maths involved in GIS, but QGIS takes care of it and you don't need to have a deep understanding of maths to use QGIS
Some of the tools we cover even in the early modules rely on relatively complex maths, and I think it's important to put learners at ease by letting them know they just need to understand the concepts and QGIS can take care of the maths.
