It seems maybe GCC >= 8 and NetCDF >= 4.6 are required for this binary — these are newer than a lot of Linux repositories have available as binaries, so may require source installs of these libraries. It would be good to have them documented in the DESCRIPTION. Maybe there are others that should be mentioned as well?
