Region 9-2 Novaya Zemlya Outline shift #12

RGI version RGI v6

Describe the issue There is a shift of up to ~100 m between some of the SPOT5 images used to generate the RGI outlines in region 9-2 (Russian Arctic/Novaya Zemlya) and the original imagery. The shift is not consistent, however, and can vary significantly depending on the image/location.

Expected outcome The RGI outlines should align with the images used to generate them.

Thanks Bob - I'll let Frank know about this: I can't recall in this region is among the ones which will change in RGI7.

This has not been fixed in RGI 7.0! Labeling as "needs work".

No worries - I believe there are/will be some other submissions to GLIMS that cover this region.
