Hi, thanks for the answer! I'm just wondering if there is a specific reason why this mismatch occurs in Himalayan regions in this data version?

I'm not sure - I wasn't responsible for RGI6 data production, but perhaps the wrong shapefiles were used? We will probably never know.
RGI version RGI v6.0
Describe the issue I have downloaded the RGI6.0 data, both the vector product and gridded data, from the C3S climate data store and calculated the total glacierized area per RGI region. The vector and raster data correspond well to one another, except for RGI regions 14 and 15. Maybe something went wrong here? I doubt that there would be an error in my code, cause the other regions seem to fit well with one another.
Expected outcome Maybe it can be checked?
