This branch fixed a minor include path issue, added make.sh to build gmml in isolation from gems, and polished tests/compile_run_tests.bash. gmml was rebuilt and retested; all 8 tests passed. IMO there is nothing here that should impact any non-gmml software and thus this is ready to merge into gmml-dev. Please review.
