hi,

with version 1.3-10 from git, I got this error when clicking on "scan image"

"Input data is invalid and most likely an attempt to run malicious code on the server denied"

while it works fine with version 1.2-9 from here : https://github.com/GM-Script-Writer-62850/PHP-Scanner-Server/downloads

note : the server is working on an headless debian server based on kernel 2.6.24.4 (yes it's old...)

what's wrong ?

thx

Did you upgrade a old install? if you need to rescan for scanners (seems you did, rescan for scanners and it should be good to go) if not can you go to the scanner list page and click on the scanner's device uri and paste the data it gives you here Ubuntu 10.04 server is supported (though it require a imagemagick update) so the 2.6 kernel is not a issue

hi,

thanks for replying so quickly ! and also thanks a lot for your work ! I was just wondering how I can reach you to congratulate! this scan server is amazing ! why it is not list on Sane frontend page ? http://www.sane-project.org/sane-frontends.html

I fix this issue by downgrading sane to the repos version, I was working the git version before

thanks again

Thanks, i was not aware of the list, i just started converting a cgi web scanner (name is in the readme file) then improved it dramatically; I am going to send them email to inform them of this front end contact info is also in the readme file there is a link to the readme at the server's footer section

The error message you received happens when the page sends the scanner instructions that it can't follow therefor it assumes you are trying to attack the server, just data validation
