Describe the bug HELICS-Examples require HELICS-2

This repo fails cmake configuration with current HELICS-3.4.0 After fixing the config, all HELICS-Examples fail to compile, with various errors.

The lack of working examples makes it very hard to learn and experiment with HELICS.

HELICS-2 is over two years old. There have been 9 releases in the HELICS-3 series. It's time.

If a PR fixing the issues gets opened, it will be merged. I sent you a Teams message with a bit more detail on the current situation with respect to HELICS maintenance tasks.
