loadLink if not registered then request form to become an user #1286

Hi loadLink works great, but if a user is not registered then it would be nice to provide the user also with a request form to become an user.

Most of our groups have handled this by building a separate system using our web-services. However, I agree that it would be great to have this built-in. Just not sure when we'll have time to do it. I'm very happy to provide direction or bring in a pull-request when one is ready.
