You can choose if the ventilation unit should use the supply temp. or extract temp. as input to the units internal temperature regulator. If supply reg. is used, the unit tries to keep the supply temp. according to your setpoint. If extract reg. is used, the unit tries to keep the extract temp. according to your setpoint.
I'm no expert either, the ventilation units I've integrated a few years back was mostly supply temp. regulated and outdoor compensated. The function is included because i wanted to test the feature.
Consequences: I believe it's "harder" for the unit to achieve the setpoint if in extract reg. vs in supply reg. if the deviation between the extract/supply temp and the setpoint is the same. If changing between supply reg. and extract reg. the unit most likely need to have its PID regulator tuned for as efficient regulation as possible. If not properly tuned the system will work unnecessary hard to achieve it's setpoint.
Please correct me if i'm wrong.
So I should basically leave it on "tilluft"?
I have a question to the functionality of the "tilluft"-climate switch:
I can change between "tilluft" and "avtrekk" but as I am no expert on this unit or ventilaton what am I actually changing here? And what are the consequences of choosing either?
