Manual doesn't build with TeX Live 2017 #44

I just upgraded my MacTeX distribution (pdfTeX 3.14159265-2.6-1.40.18 (TeX Live 2017)), and found that the manual no longer builds: 

! LaTeX Error: Unknown float option `f'.

See the LaTeX manual or LaTeX Companion for explanation.
Type  H <return>  for immediate help.
 ...

@eclab : did you intend to push a commit? I don't see anything.
