Faulty Unit #4

Be careful folks. I had my GMaker WIFI just short of 2 months and it is now faulty. The seller fails to respond to communications so cant resolve the issue.

At first I was getting regfular prints that would just stop on the last 5 or 6 layers of the print remaining. This was so annoying prints running for hours and the last few layers to go the prints would completely just stop. I confirmed this was occurring because of the WIFI box after not using the WIFI box I have not had anymore uncompleted prints.

Now the WIFI box cannot be seen by the printer. I can transfer files to the WIFI box but the printer does not see any card installed. I tried the usual taking out and putting back in the cable but it didnt help. I tried it on another printer and the same occurs. I also tried plugging it into a pc and the pc doesnt see the sd card plugged into the box. I tried different sdcards but same problem. So although transferring by WIFI still goes nothing else does.

Hi BruceyNZ I have the same problem but it is intermittent for now. I have only had the unit for a week.

Hi Jeffrey65511

If I was you I would get onto the seller or if you purchased it through Alixpress lodge a refund because if you wait after 30 days like I have the seller doesnt want to seem to do anything.

I have decided to go to Raspberry pi so im sure that will be much better and overall not a lot more in cost.
