Unable to Increase memory and CPU of GNS3 VM on Virtualbox #3563

Hi everyone, I am having an issue with my GNS3 VM version 2.2.42. Anytime I increase the Memory size and the CPU Count in settings -> system, the change is not registered and will revert back to previous settings when turned on again. Anyone have an idea why this is occurring?
