1 month ago Automated scraping of genres for games was implemented on a testing branch. The filtering functionality needs implemented and tested on the front end next.
If all goes well, tags for games may also be scrapped and added to further re-fine filtering for games.
It will be considered maybe in the future. But the way people just say "was on old site, fix it" is rude and does not provide any sort of motivation to spend hours of development implementing. Do NOT make another issue about "genres". You can easily go to GOG.com and filter there, find a game and then come search for it on the site.
