4 years ago Oh man extreme brainfart: SteamVR wasn't detecting the quest wirelessly because the quest was plugged into the PC with a questlink compatible cable. Steam was picking up Questlink as opposed to streaming. MY BAD
So I picked up Virtual Desktop yesterday for my quest and today I decided to see if ReLive would be a better alternative.
I've been trying for the last few hours to get this to work and nothing seems to be helping. I've configured the radeon software to allow SteamVR streaming, I've sideloaded the APK both manually and through sidequest, I've rolled back and reupdated my AMD drivers, I've disconnected and ended the virtual desktop process, but SteamVR will not show the wireless icon even when prompted to open by the Radeon software. In the ReLive app my headset merely displays a white background with an animated wifi signal, eventually becoming a black screen with guardian.
I feel like this is either being caused by virtual desktop somehow or being affected by the fact that I regularly use my Odyssey+ with the PC. Would having had a PCVR headset connected to the PC in the past affected it's configuration enough to change default HMD settings in the Radeon software?
