I want to get more control with the Streaming capacity. Such as transport the streaming video to another device for spectate or control the devices auto-connection when there are more than one device.
Is there any sdk for using streaming capacity?
watching VR on the second headset would likely cause severe nausea because rendering would be done with head pose from the first headset. Any movement of a user who wears the first headset would cause nasty effects for the second user.
Individual rendering for the second user would solve the problem but SteamVR /OpenVR and VR games don't support two headsets for individual rendering.
Dual rendering would be possible with direct integration of a streaming solution with VR game /application but it should be done with every game.
Non-VR spectatorship is possible but I am not sure how much value it is since there is usually game preview on the desktop machine anyway.
AMD doesn't provide any public streaming/VR SDK at this point, but if you have a good use case and plan some business development, you can contact me privately for a discussion: mikhail(dot)mironov(att)amd(dot)com.
