Our current ProRender renderer does not have functionality for baking materials textures like that.
Moreover, and I don't mean to be rude, why not just spend $20 to support that developer who made that add-on? It looks useful.
@bsavery it not that powerful bake speed i think amd radeon plugin can achieve more speed then that one
@bsavery also i am seeing kcycle blender 3.2 rx 580 bake speed also bit improved i am forward to looking if u can check kcycle 3.2 as well and provide some more gpu load on that with ur plugin
uber shader could have possibility to add bake texture plz take a look onto it
If we add a baking function to the core renderer in the future we could look at this. But it's not a simple or fast thing to do.

i just notice they using same usd concept like amd hydra usd has
