How about to fork OpenAL Soft ( https://github.com/kcat/openal-soft / https://openal-soft.org/ ) and create an official AMD version that gets HW acceleration ( via OpenCL for all GPUs and maybe more directly via GCN/RDNA ISA on Radeon GPUs ) ?
