select point on the globe #56

This option is the most confusing because I’m not sure if these belong as a menu item together.​ This option is where you can ”activate” a select point option either to track a point through time on the globe or to create a graph through time based on the active raster​

This requirement is not clear yet. One thing we can do is to allow user click on the globe to pop up a widget to show some info about that location, such as coordinates, seafloor age, plate name/id, etc.

Looks good! We might need to truncate or reduce accuracy to get it to fit on mobile though

Looks cool! Yep definitely don't need that many decimal places.

Can a user enter their own coordinates (rather than clicking)?

yes, user can input coordinates.
