If you encounter situtations where streets in OSM have a different name than in KartaView imagery and there's indication that the existing name was sourced from local knowledge, please move it to old_name instead of deleting it. Example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/190380328/history

There are signs that might look like street names, but are not. I specifically noticed several instances of Puroks being mistaken for street names. Puroks are administrative entities which should be tagged on nodes as place=neighbourhood. Example: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/538588038/history
I hope you can forward these hints to your mappers that are working on street names in the Philippines.
