Szia Peter,
Koszi, hogy megnézted! Beleirom a válaszokat alább a kerteseid közé.
(Van egyébként éppen egy kifejezetten GDL-es problémám is - kurdhetem?)
Mégegyszer nagyon köszönöm!
Udv,

Hi,
It doesn’t matter wether the document is saved to the disk, or not. The problem appears with any xml I set to gdl-xml. And previously it worked even without saving, too.
Again, it didn’t matter before what the first lines were. What should they be? Thanks.
I only know the status bar button (and now, that you mentioned, I was looking for it in the menu as well, but could not find anything. No command in the context menu either on my side. Perhaps I haven’t mentioned clearly, that I am working in the MacOS version (Ventura 13.6.6, latest Visual Studio Code)
"[xml]": { "workbench.editor.languageDetection": false }
I tried it, but didn’t make a difference.

It should be what LP_XMLConverter writes when converting from gsm to xml. Something like
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<Symbol IsArchivable="false" IsPlaceable="true" MainGUID="F2E00B3E-0ADB-4E2D-B19B-4E8CB995E360" MigrationValue="Normal" Owner="0" Signature="1196644685" Version="40">
Peter,
Thank you for your reply. I think it is the new release of Visual Studio Code.
XML files generated by the LibDev Toolkit, are working perfectly well.
I just used VSC to to make it easier to code in GDL, and the language setting was working on new files from scratch before the update. Now they only work if I set GDL-HSF. Not a big issue, just a very slightly annoying workaround.
Yet, I’d really appreciate if VSC would be fixed, i.e. work the same way as before.
Many thanks agin.

Type: Bug
Hi, Since the latest update of Visual Studio, when I set GDL-XML for a certain tab, after switching to another tab and back the language defaults back to "plain" XML. GDL-HSF is retained as a language. Thanks, Tony
