What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.call Facebook.init(_appID, handleIinit);
2.no callback in handleIinit()
3.Facebook.login(..) is not running inside handleIinit()

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
it should have a popup with info to tell user login

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.8.1

Please provide any additional information below.

I have the same problem. Callback function is not at all working. This behavior
is happening on the device. Not on the AIR simulator

My issue is resolved. I faced this when i use this API on Android device. I
solved it by changing the "Advanced settings" in the publish settings of CS 5.5
