3 months ago Suggested Banner for FDMS: "Starting on [time/date], Documents in FDMS will not have system-generated associated PDF files in the Document File and Views fields. Non-PDF files submitted as attachments to Documents WILL NOT display on Regulations.gov at this time. Updates will be provided in an eBlast and in the Announcements section of the FDMS Homepage."
The Adlib software creates a pdf format for any uploaded/attached documents within FDMS. FDMS will display both the original document (Word, txt file, etc.) and the pdf version of that file. If a pdf document is uploaded directly, the system does nothing. If the Adlib contract lapses on June 19, 2024, documents in FDMS will not have system-generated associated PDF files in the Document File and Views fields. If Agencies post comments with non-PDF files (ie Word) submitted as attachments to Documents, there will be no attachments displayed or viewable on Regulations.gov. We are advising Agency users to hold off posting comments with attachments to Regulations.gov until the Adlib software is back operable.
