Overview

Based on concept testing, there is an opportunity to clarify the steps of the form creation process. It is recommended to:

Change the text in the progress indicator from “Create” to “Edit.”
Rename “Configure” or remove completely.

Context

This recommendation comes from the following analysis:

There is a lack of clarity about step indicator component terminology. Currently it is Upload > Create > Configure > Publish.
There is a desire for a more guided process of creating the form.
People want to understand how multiple forms fit into the menu.

@jimmoffet This issue was added as a result of the UX Concept testing in https://github.com/GSA-TTS/atj-platform/issues/116 . It needs further refinement and prioritization. It is a candidate for little to no design effort required. The risk with that is that Figma files will become stale.

UX considers this a minor feature/issue due to it coming up with some participants. Review details from the research in the research report.
