3rd party map app TOS? #12

Issue Name: NOAA-CrowdMag_12_2014 - 3rd party map app TOS Device Make: iPhone Device Model: 6 Device Operating System Version: 8.1 Browser: ? not applicable Carrier (or WiFi): Verizon/wifi Severity: hi Description: The app uses multiple third-party mapping tools. I can't locate information about agreeing to the third-party mapping application TOS, privacy information, and/or what (if any) information is being sent to or collected by the third-party map providers, such as my location. 1) The "CrowdMag" tab basemap is an esri map. 2) Under WMM > Calculate > Map the basemap is a Google Map.

ESRI maps are rasters created at NOAA - no data are sent to ESRI. Google map is used as a canvas to draw your data points. Again, your data points are not transmitted to Google. Our plan is to move the local map also to ESRI.
