isPartOf drop-down needs rethinking #172

I just created a parent and started trying to add children, but:

  1. I see a ton of some other agency's parents in the drop-down
  2. I don't see my new parent. I checked the parent several times, and I saved and reopened the child to possibly refresh the list
  3. The list is in no discernible order

@bletalien we have noticed this issue as well today, currently there is a 50 limit on the parent dataset dropdown, fix to remove this limit will be available on the 2/18.

Also agree that parent dataset dropdown should only list those that correspond to the agency one is entering data, which is unknown when the add dataset page is loaded and if the user has multiple agencies permissions to create data, this can be done through ajax as the organization value is changed, which can be implemented in the future release.

For now, we can help you with associating any child datasets to parent dataset through CKAN API, send an email to kvuppala@reisystems.com with the dataset, we can take care of it for you till the 2/18 fix.

@kvuppala , thanks for the explanation. I have plenty of other things to do and can wait until the 18th. I can see the problem with limiting the parents to a single agency. All in good time . . .

Fix has been deployed to production on 02/17.
