Physical Access Control System Federal Procurement Guide #11

Description of Issue:

Agency representatives who are trying to buy a Physical Access Control System (PACS) do not know how it is done.

Details of Issue:

The FIPS 201 compliant PACS systems listed on the Approved Products List (APL) are not listed under specific GSA Schedules; nor do the PACS vendors sell their product directly to customers. OEMs and VARS are utilized instead making the process complicated to understand and accomplish.
