Audience: Engineer/Architect
Overview of the Federation process. Link to other pages (assertions, assurances and protocols) for more information.
Layout the different actors in federation - CSP, AP, RP, end user. Relying Party doc Section 3.1 Federation Process.
Include diagrams which may help in visualizing the flow of data between the actors. Example Relying Party Doc Fig 2 (Page 7).

The Federation Overview, if this is a correct section title, implies that it will present broad (10,000 ft.) view of Federation. So, it should address Program Managers and generally interested parties, not just Engineers/Architects. The explanations given should be simple and easy-to-follow. My .02 cents.

Image Edits: The image file for the page will require some updates.

Suggested updates are:

Change all 'RP' to 'SP'.
Change 'Subscriber' to 'User'.
Change 'Session Management' to 'Request Access'.
Change 'Primary Authentication' to 'Authentication Request' or 'Login Request'.
Change 'Identity Information' to 'Assertion'.
Though accurate for federation, we can delete the bi-directional redirects to keep the image simple.
Show only one instance of IdP, SP and Users in the image.
