(18F | NYC | he) [2:08 PM] just wanted to thank you again for being so responsive in here. also, just had a thought: doing a slow rollout in terms of number of people is a good idea, but it may also be useful to roll out the rules (policies? what's the right term?) slowly as well. that way, when someone hits a problem, it might be easier to determine the cause, since things arent changing for people all at once

[9:36 AM] also my screensaver was set to something different which isn’t a big deal but I can’t imagine that it improves security at all.

[5:38 PM] i just got a toast notification that my computer is being checked for security updates. that was immensely unsettling.

[5:38] also, clicking on the notification just dismissed it, instead of letting me expand it.

[6:22 PM] That is a normal function of the OS to check occasionally. Since your system is set to install the updates automatically, per GSA's guidelines, that is most likely why it did not expand.
