First Bullet for contracting officer DPA requirement, change language to say: "... so that I can post RFI/RFQ; award, administer, and modify task orders against the OASIS contracts".

weiwang-gsa commented 6 months ago

@klohman this is ready for design review: https://federalist-76c8d2ee-2655-47f7-8fa4-63811842d0a5.sites.pages.cloud.gov/site/gsa/oasis-plus/buyers-guide/obtain-dpa/

@ekidenda @PowderD Which version of the OASIS+ emails is correct?

oasisplusDPA@gsa.gov or OASISDPA@GSA.Gov

oasisplus@gsa.gov or OASISPLUS@gsa.gov

@ekidenda @PowderD The current page has some extra spacing between the process list headers and paragraphs. This can be fixed, but after speaking with Wei, the solution would make any changes to the content in this list more difficult for whoever is maintaining the site. We want to get your preferences of whether we should keep it as is (see screenshot), which can be easily updated with markdown, or decrease the spacing, which will require some additional coding on your part later to make updates?

@klohman regarding emails for OASIS+ please use:

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

@klohman regarding the space gap, our preference is ease of making updates on the webpages. However, I notice that the spacing of step 1 and step 2 on the snippets above are different in opposite ways. Let's go with whichever will make future edits easier. Tks.

klohman commented 6 months ago

@weiwang-gsa Just one update then this can go for QA review:

Update the emails to: oasisplusDPA@gsa.gov oasisplus@gsa.gov

Let's leave the process list as is in markdown.

The 1 and 2 screenshots referenced above were to show the differences from the USWDS version and what we have in markdown. The spacing will be consistent on the site.

@klohman updates is made, ready for design review: https://federalist-76c8d2ee-2655-47f7-8fa4-63811842d0a5.sites.pages.cloud.gov/site/gsa/oasis-plus/buyers-guide/obtain-dpa/

@rosamundtgov, I think there is content update needed, you can track down from comments above: h3 headers for "You need a DPA" and "You do not need a DPA" and email updates which you should be aware of. I made all emails have mailto link as well.

rosamundtgov commented 6 months ago

@weiwang-gsa --- @klohman made the updates this morning, the copy doc is in sync.

klohman commented 6 months ago

@weiwang-gsa Looks good, ready for QA.

vickimcfadden commented 6 months ago

@ekidenda @PowderD ready for QA, preview here

vickimcfadden commented 6 months ago

SD QA notes @rosamundtgov:

1) Should this be OASIS+ throughout? Currently it says:

if you are a contracting officer (COs) who plans to award, administer, and modify task orders against the OASIS contracts.

Agency COs that do not have DPAs may not award task orders under OASIS.

2) Also, we're missing an extra ) in this statement:

3) And I think this is the correct interact link for the following - https://buy.gsa.gov/interact/community/196/activity-feed

4) Duplicative content, second mention should be removed

GSA will review your request, and you will receive a confirmation of the DPA via email within two business days. If you get a warrant after receiving training, you can request a DPA by emailing the respective program training at either oasisplusDPA@gsa.gov or HCaTSTraining@gsa.gov.

Note: DPA requestors must provide a .gov or .mil email address. If you do not have a .gov or .mil work email address, please contact the OASIS Contracting Officer at oasisplus@gsa.gov for assistance in requesting a DPA.

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

@rosamundtgov This part too should be OASIS+: Please change OASIS to OASIS+ as shown here: "Note: DPA requestors must provide a .gov or .mil email address. If you do not have a .gov or .mil work email address, please contact the OASIS+ Contracting Officer at oasisplus@gsa.gov for assistance in requesting a DPA.

rosamundtgov commented 6 months ago

copy doc has been updated.

vickimcfadden commented 6 months ago

We've incorporated all of these content changes, here. Please take a quick review @ekidenda

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

Please add Jan. 11, 2024 training date as follows: ' PSHC Office Hours OASIS+ Overview - January,11, 2024' to the first bullet under "Training videos and courses".

vickimcfadden commented 6 months ago

@ekidenda I made that change to the Events and Training page.

Delegation of procurement authority is ready for review.

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

This page looks good.

PowderD commented 6 months ago

@rosamundtgov @ekidenda

Afternoon all, I'm getting back and able to get to some of the edits. Hope to get to any other comments tomorrow.

So far.....

Note: DPA requestors must provide a .gov or .mil email address. If you do not have a .gov or .mil work email address, please contact the OASIS+ Contracting Officer at oasisplus@gsa.gov for assistance in requesting a DPA. - This section needs the email address to say oasisplusDPA@gsa.gov as the contact. I would also like to update the text to "Note: DPA requestors must provide a .gov or .mil email address. If you do not have a .gov or .mil work email address, please contact the OASIS+ Program Office at oasisplusDPA@gsa.gov for assistance in requesting a DPA"

Remove this section completely - "GSA cannot release the names of individuals with a DPA, even if requested by the agency; this information is Controlled Unclassified Information."

Thank you!

vickimcfadden commented 6 months ago

@PowderD @ekidenda We've incorporated Jon's feedback above and the page is now ready for review. If you feel comfortable with these edits, please move to Done.

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

The page looks good except for inconsistency in 'white space' such as in the section above: "You have a DPA, now what?". Otherwise this page can be moved to done. Thanks.

klohman commented 6 months ago

@ekidenda Can you clarify what you mean by "inconsistency in white space"? Are you referring to the space above "You have a DPA, now what?"

With using markdown, we may not be able to make adjustments without making it more complex to update later. @weiwang-gsa Can you look into the spacing between the process list and the h2 header for "You have a DPA, now what?" and see if we can remove the extra space.

ekidenda commented 6 months ago

@klohman yes, that's what I meant. In case it is doable...

klohman commented 6 months ago

weiwang-gsa commented 6 months ago

@klohman @ekidenda actually we didn't add extra space, each process list item has bottom space, the last one doesn't have vertical pipeline on the right so it looks like extra space added up between the sentence and header. I've added customized css to remove last process list item's bottom space, it is ready for review here : https://federalist-76c8d2ee-2655-47f7-8fa4-63811842d0a5.sites.pages.cloud.gov/site/gsa/oasis-plus/buyers-guide/obtain-dpa/
