@lachellel This file contains the combined SSH procedures for Windows, Linux, and Mac. We have used Jekyll, Atom, and Kramdown to try to improve the web-rendering of these procedures. There were still some rendering issues that we could not resolve. Please let us know if you have suggestions about the web-rendering and/or would like to see additional changes to the text. Thanks very much.

I see two files in this pull request:

Which one is the correct one? Can you remove (delete) the invalid one and commit the delete?

clstmbrly commented 7 years ago

@lachellel The ssh-all-2.md is the current file. Sorry about that. Will take care of the deletion.

In _devconfig/ssh-all-2.md https://github.com/GSA/piv-guides/pull/138#discussion_r121208134:

  • ssh -I /usr/lib64/opensc-pkcs11.so
    1. At the PIV card password prompt, enter your PIN.
  • The remote-host shell prompt appears.

  • +{% include alert-warning.html heading = "The card reader may flash. Do not remove the PIV/CAC until the login process has been completed." %}

  • +## Use PIV/CAC for SSH from a Mac OS X Computer

  • +### Hardware and software requirements

    • A PIV/CAC
    • A smartcard reader
    • A Mac OS X computer configured for PIV/CAC login. For additional information, go to configure opensc.

what version? need to update the drivers page but is this for Sierra? Or between Lion and Sierra?
