Type: Summary Title: Data Savvy Workforce Community of Practice Description: The Data Savvy Workforce community of practice is a network of Federal professionals striving to advance data capacity and capabilities in their agency workforce. This ranges from promoting foundational data literacy to hiring or training for advanced data science skills. Members come primarily from the data, human capital, and learning communities. The blended, cross-functional community shares resources (such as position descriptions, job announcements, in-house training program manuals), provides advice to peers upon request, and may collaborate on community-driven projects that help solve for common challenges. Federal employees may (1) join the listserv to request or share information, (2) browse and post resources to the MAX page, and (3) post data-related project or detail opportunities on Open Opportunities that provide experiential learning opportunities to those seeking to grow their data skills.
