Another reason for login failures is that often customers choose the "Log in with your government employee ID” link located below the Sign in button (see picture below). Unfortunately, sometimes using that option sends Search.gov a different email than the one that you registered with your Search.gov account (such as your personal email). When we receive an email address that is not associated with your Search.gov account, our system rejects your login attempt. To avoid running into this issue, we recommend entering your email address and password linked to your Search.gov account each time instead.

Always enter the email address associated with your Search.gov account and your Login.gov password, instead of using the "Sign in with your government employee ID” shortcut link. Thank you.
