Individual Smart Bulletins as HTML Pages #145

Open JessicaMarine1 opened 1 year ago

JessicaMarine1 commented 1 year ago

Path: policies-and-audits/smart-bulletins/smart-bulletin-[no.]

File name: Design: Example Policies & Audits > Smart Bulletin > Bulletin Template: Sidebar Template

Related to #39. When a user clicks on a specific Smart Bulletin, this is how it should display.

JessicaMarine1 commented 1 year ago

@brentryanjohnson what should the path be for each of the individual bulletins?

brentryanjohnson commented 1 year ago

I think it makes sense to use the following format:

policies-and-audits/smart-bulletins/smart-bulletin-[no.]

So an example would be policies-and-audits/smart-bulletins/smart-bulletin-001

@A-L33 @rebekahperillo

Here are some discrepancies and broken links I found in the smart bulletins. You can decide if you want to update some or all of these or just remove the hyperlink. I also found a few date inconsistencies.

Bulletin 011

Bulletin 012

Bulletin 015

Bulletin 017

Bulletin 018

Bulletin 019

Bulletin 020

Bulletin 021

Bulletin 23

Bulletin 029

Bulletin 031

Bulletin 033

Bulletin 036

Since the text versions of the Smart Bulletins ultimately need to be in markdown, I went ahead and converted them all. They're in a subdirectory 🔒 in the Smart Bulletins 📁 in the google drive.

Depending on the edits, we may need to redo some of this work, but I thought I would get it started. As noted in the respective google docs, we'll also need to update the internal link paths when we move the relevant files over. Also, because of some relatively complex nested lists, we'll need to quality check the rendered output.

To follow up here:

@klohman Thank you for this feedback! I'll send it along to the people on the team that are updating the bulletins!

@brentryanjohnson I'm going to ask the team to create a Google doc version of each updated Smart Bulletin.

Documenting the discussion with @rebekahperillo @brentryanjohnson

This page will not be MVP. For MVP, we will link to the current SmartPay bulletin PDFs from the main SmartPay Bulletin page.

Post MVP, we can reconsider moving the bulletin content to html pages.
