Per Sarah Bryant: as soon as the vendor is done with the Drupal 9 upgrade, they will be shifting immediately to the Drupal 10 upgrade. The earliest expected date of completion is late September 2023.

3/16/23: Discussed status of Drupal upgrade with SD team. Decision: continue to maintain the status quo (launching a few pieces a week) for now. Pivot if/when we need to. If the development asks become too much, we’ll have to be frank with PBS about what our team can do.

9/21/23: Eleni informed SD team that OSC was going to try to migrate the workplace site into Drupal. 10/3/23: Corey in OSC is working on a test (2 pages) to see how easy/hard this will be.

1/2/2024 Update: The workplace website is almost ready to transition into GSA.gov :tada: Corey from OSC has done a phenomenal job at converting the site into GSA’s CMS (https://preview.gsa.gov/sandbox/corey-ks-sandbox/workplace) !!

Next steps

Patrick Son is reviewing (QA) for OSC
Ryan Doerfler is going to QA check the site – hoping this week
Go live date – early next week depending on QA review
Once everyone has given the :+1::skin-tone-3: the SD team will need to coordinate with Gerard and his team about DNS changes / re-directs
PBS and OSC needs to work together to establish process for moving forward (agreement, executive editor, etc.)
SD team will handle deprecating old (Pages) site, when appropriate
