Download icons for offline usage #62

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

Maybe it is possible to create a database with login info and all used in-game
icons. This could save a lot download time / data transfer.
It would also solve the current problem with the few default icons as being
used now for planets and moons in the planet selection list.

The icons are built in but it is possible that some are missing...
I'll check that

The icons I'm talking about are the moon and planet icons.
When running over WiFi everything goes well. Nice colored moon and planet icons
are used in the planet selcion list.

When running over 3G or H mobile network the moon icon is a standard grey one
and the planet icon is the grey android guy icon.

If you are using the newest version it is not possible for the network
connection to affect the icons since there are already in the app and not
downloaded over the internet.

But if you right click on the missing planet icon (in the browser) and tell me
the URL, I can add the missing ones the the app.

Here you can see the difference in icons between the two types of connection
As you can see the ype of connection does influence the behaviour of icon
representation

That is really odd. I can't think of anything causing this error but I'll look
into it.

In v 0.6.2 the android guy has been replaced by the 404 icon.
The problem still persists though.
