Investigate whether unnecessary SPARQL queries are being initiated on page load #689

We expect/understand that data are only retrieved from PMD whilst editors are creating figures with charts and that when pages are loaded for viewers to see that the data for the charts are retrieved from the Plone block state.

An initial look at the Plone logs seemed to suggest that requests were also being made to PMD when pages are loading (which in the current implementation is not what we would expect).

We need to understand what we would like to implement as a caching strategy specifically around CMS holding cache of PMD data.
