Code cleanup

Issue Description

• [ ] Remove any unwanted variables, code lines or CSS
• [ ] Get rid of any warnings on console or otherwise
• [ ] Add variables if needed
• [ ] Verify storybook to make sure everything is working

Acceptance Criteria

• [ ] Console generates no errors/warnings
• [ ] All components work properly when used with the npm package

We need all components to work properly in the npm package.
