Fix/99 expense form modal #115

Addresses #99

This PR fixes the issue where non-positive unit numbers and negative costs may be inputted into the form. Currently, this breaks the ability to handle "flat" costs since that property doesn't exist on the database. However, this should be a trivial fix which can be added going forward.

This PR does NOT address adding a status drop-down unfortunately; this is limited by the schema not currently supporting status. I'll add another PR with that feature added in.
