The type of the gelsight tactile sensor in experiments

@y8han Hi, I have a question about what kind of your gelsight you adopt, gelsight mini tactile sensor or gelsight digit tactile sensor. I am afraid I bought the wrong type of the digit tactile sensor compared to your paper. And are the datasets in 3D format or 2D format. Because I've learned that the difference between gelsight mini and gelsight digit is the gelsight mini can generate 3D data while gelsight digit cannot. So, I am afraid that gelsight digit cannot get the same results according to your experiments. Thank for your reply.

Hi, thank you for your interests in our paper. The gelsight sensor we used was GelSight Wedge, which is not a commercial product. You can find more details from this paper: https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=9560783. Prof. She is a co-author of our paper as we obtained the Gelsight sensor created by him. Regarding your second question, we only used the 2D images from the sensor, as shown in the paper.
