Update: I've rebuild the entire setup in a new creative world and it .. works? (Tried it with a local copy before) I'm currently investigating if maybe the problem is with high-numbers in the Energy-Detector. Setting it to 10.000-ish seems to work. With 1.785.000.000 it did not.
So i guess this can be partially closed (Partially because I still think the SubStation should stop accepting power once full) Don't know if it's intended, but the EnergyDetectorCover doesn't seem to ouput a clean "high" signal, at least for my specific build. In my case redstone power was only 2 instead of 15 (Btw the Substation was at 99,7% at that time) and as such, the on/off didn't work properly (and the visual "red line" wasn't visible to me).
If the Lapotronic Capacitor Multi is the suggested way to go, maybe leave a note in the questbook about that

Your Expectation
I build a GT++ PowerStation as described in the Questbook "EU packets flowing everywhere..." which worked fine. I added one buffered EV dynamo hatch and 2 HV Energy Hatches to it, with 4 HV Turbines to charge it. I was planning to use the PowerStation as a BatteryBuffer for my mid-EV base
The Reality
2 main Issues: The PowerStation keeps accepting EU even if it's full. For such an expensive build, (4 IV Circuits and 1 LuV Circuit) I expected it to be smarter than a potato and not wasting EU.
While trying to solve the first issue (Adding an Energy-Detector-Cover to the Controller Block), i found the second issue: The EDC seems to be unable to read the internal Buffer of the power station. As such, the PS cannot be automated.
