There are currently four main types of terminals that the player can use to interact with the ME network:

• The static cable-part Terminal, Crafting Terminal, Pattern Terminal, Fluid Terminal, etc. from base AE2
• The "simple" Wireless Crafting Terminal (from AE2 Wireless Crafting Terminal)
• The Universal Wireless Terminal (from AE2 Fluid Crafting)
• The static Arcane Crafting Terminal (from Thaumic Energistics).

While all of these options present a similar-looking UI, many of the features they offer are only available through some of the terminals. In the table below I will attempt to compile a list of all the differences, noting what is available where.

Your Goal

Unify the functions available between all the different terminals for a consistent experience. In particular, the Universal Wireless Terminal missing some functions of the basic Wireless Terminal is quite annoying, for example the "ignore missing" crafting mode, or ctrl+click to request all components of a recipe. I in fact carry both terminals on me and switch between them depending on what I want.

I have included the ThE terminal here just for completeness; I am aware that it is a different mod and a fairly low priority.

• AE2FC universal wireless terminal allows renaming interfaces inside interface terminal, while AE2 static don't.

• All the terminals except ThE static allows clicking with the items inside search bar to insert item name into it.

• ThE static doesn't have button to see current crafting tasks.
