Trying to locate GT basalt using the ore finder. Similar stones like black granite, marble, and other GregTech stones I tested worked fine, but not basalt.
The Reality
There is no sound or notification from the ore finder.
Your Proposal
Add/fix ore finder functionality for the basalt block and veins.
Through my research, I found this from 2019 on an issue marked resolved:
Works for black and red granite and marble, but not basalt (?)

Additionally, I tested in single-player and got the same results.
