I would be able to rebind keys for NEI after pressing Escape->Options->Controls.

The Reality

NEI does not show up there at all, so I am unable to rebind any keys for it.

Your Proposal

Fix the bug that causes NEI to disappear from that menu in the java 17-21 version. Was able to rebind keys in the java8 version.
