The Reality

Unable to view recipe, "There was error during loading recipe. Please check log for details." Also causes game to freeze for a short period of time. Seems I cannot send the log, as it goes above the 25MB limit. this message repeats many, many times despite only trying to find the recipe once.

Your Proposal

I have been troubleshooting for about 2 hours and still have absolutely 0 clue what is going on. Did not happen in previous versions, played again recently and issue started occurring. Was told to change to MMC and manually download the newest pack version, so I did. The issue has not gone away and as far as I've seen this issue seems common enough, but I still cannot find an answer that worked. I have added the mods Neodymium and Dynamic Lights but everything else in the pack should be exactly the same as the 2.6.1 release.

Also seems to be increasing the size of the logs by a ludicrous amount every time i try to view a recipe, has gone from 100MB to 500mb...

I am seeing this issue now on Nightly 592.

When I first joined my world, the first NEI search took a couple of seconds to complete the search, and then when I clicked on any item, the error was added to the log.

It seems somewhat random at when it happens, since it has only happened to me once, even after joining the game multiple times.

The error that I received also had a different exception than the one in the original post, but it still displayed the "Error during loading recipe" message. A log snippet can be found here: https://pastebin.com/qzQmHGmE

Can you send the log file, but only the part you get repeated error? There should be stacktrace printed to the log
