Audio for crafting tools has stopped working in 2.6.1

When crafting with tools, in 2.5.1 I recall having sound being played when tools are part of the recipe.

The Reality

In fact, there is no sound played - not for saw, neither for hammer

Your Proposal

I'd like to understand if this is a local problem, if the sounds got disabled in the pack or if its a configuration issue.

I've asked few times on discord with no response whatsoever. all other sounds work fine, tried F3+s as per single response on discord, this doesn't help. I'm OP on my local server, tried without being OP, no luck. Also second player on same server & same version reports lack of audio when crafting as well.

Asked discord fellows to try if they have crafting sounds with tools, no response.

Okay, good to hear. what mod(s) could be responsible for this audio effects? I really do not want to update to nightlies if that could be avoided

it doesn't work for me even on nightly (build 603).
