After my look on Beamline ru-community now has a guide about it and I have a list of things that can make Beamline better as I think.
(maybe solved already). Target Chamber turns off when mask ends. Not a critical thing but without turning TC off Beamline wiil be a little bit predictable for new users.
.Masks have number of uses, but we can’t see it until the mask is used once. It’s an inconvenient aspect that makes pattern programming longer for no reason. I suggest to write number of uses even in unused masks.
.There are no precise data about core mechanics of Beamline in tooltips or quests. Only “A increases this parameter, B decreases it”. We need all formulas that are used to calculate beam parameters. Yeah, there is a Google Sheet calculator already, but as I think the information should be available in-game without external tools. Quests are a good place for whole math about Beamline.
.Photonically prepared and enhanced wafers are out of balance. They have x2 output but also have almost x2 needed amount. So in the same time with optical wafers we receive 5-10% more than with americium wafers, while optical are much more expensive. I suggest to decrease amount in recipes with optical wafers 2-4 times, so their cost will balance speed of crafting. It already works in Laser Engraver where optical wafers give more output than americium ones.
.There are only 7 wafers which makes sense to produce in Beamline because of crafting speed. Other 10 types are faster in Engraver. I think Beamline will be an interesting alternative to Engravers in wafer production. So I suggest to rebalance those 10 recipes to make it faster in Beamline than in Engraver. I am applying a comparison.
