Currently the europium bee is not blacklisted from the mutatron (not sure if this was a mistake)
I checked because that sounded like a bug. But no, it is blacklisted.

I was able to breed this in mutatron in 2.7 beta 3 100% it like stuttered a little but succeeded, can test it again and make another issue but i am sure it works considering i obtained the bee pre mk1 compact

Your Proposal
Previously, the advanced mutatron could be obtained as soon as americium was obtained - requiring neutronium combs to be crafted. Following some bee re-balance changes, the americium bee is now required to be bred with a compact mk2 block (which is very expensive in UV for the average player) which gates the neutronium bee.
The main purpose of the advanced mutatron is to differentiate between bee breeds (most apparent within the magic chains) and lower the chances of a bee turning ignoble/dying.
Once you are in the stage of progression that you can craft a compact mk2, most bees will already be bred and there is not much benefit in crafting the adv. mutatron over the normal one for its functionality.
My Suggestion:
Currently the europium bee is not blacklisted from the mutatron (not sure if this was a mistake) and it supposedly requires a compact mk1 controller to satisfy its breeding requirements. Considering that this bee produces fusion products, I think a blacklist should be added. And to make it more of a reward to obtaining the bee, use the europium combs in the adv. mutatron recipe instead.
This way, it balances the power and QoL of bee breeding in ZPM/UV
Your Goal
This feature is needed to restore balance and enhance the functionality of the advanced mutatron within the mid-to-late game stages of progression. Currently, the advanced mutatron becomes available only after players have surpassed its useful breeding stages, which limits its relevance.
Allows players to access the advanced mutatron at ZPM/UV stages using europium combs rewards their efforts in reaching this level of infrastructure, giving them a meaningful upgrade that aids in further progression. This adjustment also enhances quality of life for players by providing a tool that feels like an achievement milestone rather than a redundant addition.
Adding the europium bee to the mutatron’s blacklist prevents players from bypassing progression by accessing powerful fusion products prematurely, which keeps the overall gameplay balanced.
Your Vision
By making the advanced mutatron accessible during the ZPM/UV stages, players can actually utilize its full potential while they’re still actively engaged in bee breeding. This change makes breeding more rewarding and less frustrating, especially for complex chains like magic bees, where the advanced mutatron’s functionality is most impactful.
