remove pollution fluid hatches from the EBF #18038

After 2.7, let's remove the "pollution" output hatches from the EBF. It was a poor attempt to implement a bit more depth to the current pollution implementation. Before it wasn't an issue as the EBF was voiding anything that had no free space in the output destination, so EBFs with no pollution output hatches was giving the item byproducts while voiding the pollution fluids (carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide and sulfur dioxide).

Now that it does not void anymore, if you do a recipe that has one of those 3 fluids without pollution output hatches, the EBF displays an error saying there is no valid destination despite having an empty output hatch on the bottom of the EBF. And the only mention of those hatches is hidden in the structure guidelines. I just had someone confused in voice chat about this. And now that i think of it, it makes really no sense to have separate handling just for 3 fluids that are rarely produced in the EBF anyways.

I dont particular care about removal or not, but 1) you can still void if you want, 2) this info is not hidden exclusively in the structure guidlines but is -of course- well explained in the quest.

the carbon monoxide is of some importance to certain processing chains (iirc titanium?). making them 100% recycled would have a slight balance implications

StaffiX commented 2 days ago

in titanium processing, the carbon monoxide comes from the chemical reactor step

for ilmenite dust processing (which most of the time gets replaced by chemical bathing the crushed ore), the carbon dust does get used in the ebf, giving back carbon monoxide

other recipes such as cobaltite also gives back sulfur monoxide (or dioxide?) making it possible to loop back the oxygen
